It is antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial.
 
My boys have put this to the test over the years with all the skinned knees, scrapes and cuts, the random sensitive skin spots that come from diapering, blisters, rashes, bug bites, even burns (that one was on my finger). It really is gentle enough to use on children because it doesn't sting! But it is powerful enough to kill the germs, soothe the owie and heal the damage. I have friends that use this on their dogs (DO NOT use on cats - they can't do essential oil!).

All Organic Ingredients:
chickweed
comfrey leaves
calendula flowers
plantain leaves
olive oil
beeswax
lavender essential oil
 
I choose a  verified 100% olive oil that is extra virgin & organic as a carrier oil to infuse my plants in because it's high in antioxidants and phenols, which can soothe the skin and it’s great for dry, mature skin. Each plant is infused individually in the olive oil. The infusion takes 2 weeks over a consistent low heat to extract the healing constituents from the plants.
 
Please store in a cool, dry place and avoid direct sunlight. There are no preservatives in this product so if stored properly it has a shelf life of 5 years, if it lasts that long!
